Assassin's Creed Shadows Is Getting A Co-Op Mode – Report

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is reportedly getting a co-op mode after the game’s launch, and is codenamed “League.”

This is according to Insider Gaming, which notes that details on the co-op mode are scarce. The report speculates that it could allow for dual protagonists Naoe and Yasuke to fight alongside one another, although that detail is unconfirmed. Shadows was recently delayed to February 14, 2025; it’s unclear if the co-op mode will be available right at launch.

While Assassin’s Creed is predominately a single-player franchise, it has included multiplayer options in the past. However, the only other entry that had co-op was Unity, where players could run around Paris completing various missions.

GTA 5's Big Bounty Hunter Update Out Now As Rockstar Teases Unexpected Future Feature

The next major update for Grand Theft Auto Online–Bottom Dollar Bounties–is out today on console and PC. The update is themed around bounty-hunting, and even features the first physical appearance of Maude Eccles in GTA Online. Rockstar also teased an unexpected feature coming in the future: the ability to become a scooter-riding pizza delivery driver.
